The St. Louis Bandits Skate In Support of Dollar-Help

St. Louis, MO (March 8, 2010) - Eager to match the “Check a red box” campaign with a few powerful checks of their own, the St. Louis Bandits Junior A Hockey Team and Laclede Gas are proud to support Dollar-Help Night at the Hardee’s Iceplex in Chesterfield, Friday, March 12.  The Bandits will battle the archrival Topeka Roadrunners.

Fans in attendance may sign up for the Dollar-Help monthly donation program, and also register for a chance to win an autographed St. Louis Blues jersey from Erik Johnson or T.J. Oshie.  After the game, fans are also invited to hit the ice during a free open skate. Skate rental will be available at no charge.

The Bandits encourage those who can to enroll in the Dollar-Help program and give generously.  “Now more than ever, in these difficult times, we are particularly grateful that Dollar Help allows us to make a real difference in people’s lives,” said Bandits Head Coach Jeff Brown, a former defenseman with the St. Louis Blues.

Face-off is at 7:05pm. The Hardee’s Iceplex is located at 16851 South Outer Forty in Chesterfield, Missouri. For more information about the Bandits visit www.stlbandits.com.
